Religious ceremonies and processions were held across different cities in Iran as thousands of people observed the occasion through prayers, recitations, and traditional mourning rituals.
Ashura is observed on the 10th day of Muharram and commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The day holds deep religious significance and symbolizes sacrifice, justice, truth, and resistance against oppression for millions of people around the world.
