U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, threatening further military action if Tehran does not stop groups allied with it from causing instability in Lebanon.

In a post shared on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump called on Iran to immediately restrain what he described as its “highly paid proxies” operating in Lebanon. He accused Iran-backed groups of contributing to unrest and escalating tensions in the region.
Trump warned that if the situation continues, the United States could launch another military response against Iran. Referring to recent U.S. actions, he said that any future strike would be even stronger than previous operations carried out last week.
The comments come at a time of heightened tensions in the Middle East, as clashes continue in Lebanon despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to maintain a ceasefire. The situation has raised concerns among international observers who fear that further escalation could threaten regional stability and complicate peace negotiations.
So far, Iranian officials have not publicly responded to Trump’s latest remarks. However, the statement is likely to increase tensions between Washington and Tehran as both sides remain involved in efforts to address conflicts affecting the wider region.
