PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar has denied allegations of threatening actress Momina Iqbal, claiming instead that he himself was threatened by Momina’s husband during the ongoing controversy involving the two parties.
In a recent video statement circulating on social media, Saqib Chadhar responded to accusations made against him and rejected claims that he issued life threats to Momina Iqbal. The MPA stated that the allegations are false and misleading, adding that he has never threatened the actress at any stage.
Saqib Chadhar further alleged that he was the one who received threats during the dispute. According to him, Momina Iqbal’s husband allegedly contacted and threatened him, a matter he says can be proven with evidence if required during legal proceedings.
The statement comes amid a growing public controversy that has attracted significant attention across social media platforms and news outlets. Over the past few days, several claims and counterclaims have surfaced from both sides, intensifying public debate surrounding the issue.
Earlier, Momina Iqbal had accused the MPA of harassment, cyberbullying, mental torture, and issuing threats, while also claiming that attempts were made to silence her complaints. In response, Saqib Chadhar and his legal team have continued to deny the allegations and maintain that they are prepared to present their side before the court and investigating authorities.
The matter remains under legal review, and no official verdict or conclusion has yet been announced. Social media users continue to react strongly to the developing case, making it one of the most widely discussed controversies online.
