Meera Hits Back at ‘Psycho’ Remark, Says She Gets More Respect in India

Veteran Pakistani actress Meera has responded strongly after being referred to as a “psycho” by a journalist during a recent interaction. The remark appeared to upset the actress, who immediately defended herself and called for respect and professionalism in the way artists are treated.

Reacting to the comment, Meera said that if she is not given respect in Pakistan, she receives plenty of appreciation and recognition in India. Her statement quickly gained attention online, with many social media users discussing her response and the treatment of celebrities by the media.

The actress also spoke about the criticism surrounding her latest film, Psycho, expressing disappointment over the negative reactions it has received. Meera said that the film represents the hard work and dedication of both herself and actor Shaan Shahid, who worked together to bring the project to audiences.

According to Meera, instead of acknowledging the effort and creativity behind the movie, many people have chosen to mock it on social media. She believes Psycho should be viewed as a serious contribution to Pakistani cinema and appreciated for its ambition and the commitment of those involved in its production.

Her comments have since sparked debate online, with supporters praising her for standing up for herself, while others continue to discuss the film and its reception among audiences.
