Iran has expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s leadership for its role in efforts to reduce tensions in the region.
In an official statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their continuous diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the ongoing conflict.

The statement was shared by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on behalf of Iran’s national security leadership. He acknowledged Pakistan’s active role in promoting peace and said that these efforts have helped create a path towards dialogue and de-escalation in a very tense situation.
Iran also indicated its willingness to move towards calm if hostile actions against it are stopped. Officials stated that their forces would reduce defensive operations if all sides show restraint, highlighting a possible shift from conflict to negotiation.
As part of these developments, both sides have shown openness to temporary arrangements that can support peace efforts. This includes steps like ensuring safe movement in key regional routes and allowing time for further discussions between involved countries.
Pakistan’s role as a mediator has been widely recognized, with its leadership engaging with multiple sides to encourage dialogue. These efforts have helped bring the situation closer to a possible ceasefire and opened the door for future negotiations.
Overall, Iran’s message reflects growing support for diplomatic solutions and highlights Pakistan’s importance in promoting stability and peace in the region.
