A shocking incident has been reported from Sargodha, where a young boy was allegedly subjected to severe abuse before an attempt was made to bury him alive. According to initial reports, the victim, identified as Ghulam Rasool, was rescued after local residents heard his cries for help and immediately alerted the police.
The incident reportedly took place after the child was allegedly tortured. Authorities said the accused attempted to bury the boy in a pit in a garden while he was still alive. Two days later, some people visiting the area to fetch water noticed movement inside the pit and found the child alive. They immediately rescued him and shifted him to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Police responded quickly after receiving information about the incident and arrested three suspects, including the main accused. An investigation is currently underway to determine the motive behind the alleged crime and whether any other individuals were involved.
The victim’s family has alleged that influential people may have played a role in the incident and has demanded a transparent and impartial investigation. Police have assured that all aspects of the case will be thoroughly examined and that those found responsible will face legal action.
The rescued boy remains under medical care, while authorities continue collecting evidence and recording statements as part of the ongoing investigation.
