The Pakistan Navy carried out a humanitarian search and rescue operation in the Arabian Sea after a merchant vessel reported a technical fault during its journey. According to initial reports, the ship was traveling from Oman to India when it developed a malfunction, prompting the crew to issue an emergency alert.
In response to the situation, India reportedly sought assistance, after which the Pakistan Navy promptly deployed its vessel, PNS Kashmir, to provide support. The naval team reached the distressed ship and initiated relief efforts to ensure the safety of everyone onboard.
The crew members, who included Indian and Indonesian nationals, were provided with essential assistance, including food supplies, medical aid, and technical support to help stabilize the vessel. The swift response ensured that the situation was brought under control without any reported casualties.
