Mahira Khan recently addressed the media in London during the British Asian Trust Annual Dinner, where she spoke about her meeting with King Charles and her experience at the event.
She appreciated the opportunity to engage with global leaders and highlighted the importance of the Trust’s efforts in supporting social development initiatives.
During her remarks, Mahira Khan emphasized the need to raise awareness about mental health in Pakistan. She stressed that breaking the stigma around mental health issues is essential and praised the British Asian Trust for its continued work in supporting vulnerable and underserved communities, particularly in South Asia.
She also shared her concerns regarding recent harassment allegations involving Momina Iqbal, strongly condemning violence against women in all forms.
Referring to the acid attack on a doctor in Quetta, she called for stronger legal protections for victims and urged society to ensure accountability and justice for such incidents.
