Mishi Khan Says Meera Deserved the Spotlight in ‘Psycho’, Questions Film’s Main Focus

Pakistani actress and television host Mishi Khan has shared her review of the Eid-ul-Azha release Psycho, offering praise for veteran actress Meera while expressing reservations about the film’s overall direction and storytelling.

In a video posted on social media, Mishi Khan said she recently watched *Psycho* and felt that Meera delivered one of the strongest performances in the film. According to Mishi, Meera’s character stood out throughout the story and had the potential to become the central focus of the movie.

Mishi noted that while the film features Shaan Shahid and Soniya Hussyn in leading roles, she believed the narrative would have been more engaging if greater attention had been given to Meera’s character. She said Meera brought depth, emotion, and screen presence to her role, making her one of the most memorable aspects of the film.

The actress further explained that she found Meera’s performance more impactful than expected and felt the story naturally leaned toward her character. In her opinion, the filmmakers missed an opportunity by not building the plot more strongly around Meera’s role.

While reviewing the movie, Mishi acknowledged the efforts of the cast and production team but suggested that the film’s focus could have been different. She indicated that the storyline might have benefited from highlighting Meera’s character rather than primarily centering on the characters played by Shaan Shahid and Soniya Hussyn.

Psycho, released during Eid-ul-Azha, has generated discussion among moviegoers due to its suspense-filled narrative and star-studded cast. Following Mishi Khan’s review, many social media users have also been debating the performances and character development seen in the film.

Her comments have sparked fresh conversations online, particularly among fans of Meera, with many agreeing that the veteran actress delivered a noteworthy performance that deserved greater attention within the film’s overall narrative.
