United States President Donald Trump has said that American military operations in Iran are expected to end very soon. He mentioned that the timeline for withdrawal could be around two to three weeks, as his administration continues diplomatic talks with Iranian officials while still carrying out air operations.
Speaking at a White House event, Trump was asked about the impact of rising fuel prices since the conflict began. In response, he said that once US forces leave Iran, the situation could change quickly. He suggested that the current pressures are linked to the ongoing military presence and that things may settle after the withdrawal.
He further explained that the US is in the final phase of its mission and expects to complete its objectives within a short period. According to him, the withdrawal could happen within two weeks, or possibly a few days later, depending on the situation on the ground.
Trump also made it clear that the decision to end military operations does not depend on reaching an agreement with Iran. He indicated that the US plans to complete its mission and leave regardless of the outcome of ongoing negotiations.
