Lahore Tuition Academy Roof Collapse Kills 14 Children, Several Others Critically Injured

A devastating roof collapse at a tuition academy in Lahore’s Kahna area has claimed the lives of 14 children, while several others were injured in the tragic incident. The collapse occurred during tuition classes, leaving students trapped beneath the rubble and triggering a large-scale rescue operation.

Emergency rescue teams rushed to the scene and worked to remove the trapped students from the debris. The injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. According to officials, between eight and ten children remain in critical condition and are receiving intensive care.

Initial reports suggest that the collapsed roof had been constructed using T.R. girders. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the collapse and to assess whether negligence or structural weaknesses contributed to the tragedy. The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety standards of educational buildings and has left families and the local community in deep mourning.
